The key focus areas of ABB School of Maintenance are quality training that is innovative, combines theory, research and practice, and produces trainees who have a broad range of generic skills that will not only equip them to contribute to the economic development of an organization, but also to compete successfully in the international market.

The ABB School of Maintenance learning programmes assists to overcome some of the current challenges associated with the maintenance industry namely, scarcity of experienced maintenance resources, as well as the effective gathering and managing of quality information.

As such, the ABB School of Maintenance’s short learning programmes fit national and international training demands and are presented in Johannesburg at the ABB Campus, Longmeadow, Modderfontein. However, on-site, in-situ training can be arranged to take place at the client’s premises, country-wide. If required, in-house programmes can be developed to ensure emphasis on company specific training requirements.

Training Calendar

The ABB School of Maintenance offers public training programmes which are being delivered at various dates throughout the year. Seminars and symposiums are also planned annually and stimulate discourse on current topics within the maintenance arena. The current training offering aims to support maintenance professionals through relevant content and professional delivery of short learning programmes.
