ABB's partnership with Thailand began in 1913 with the delivery of the first motor to Siam Cement. ASEA and BBC established operations in 1978 and 1982, merging to form ABB Thailand in 1988.
Today, ABB operates from its Bangkok headquarters, with a service workshop in Bangpoo Industrial Estate, the Rayong Business Center, service branches in Laem Chabang, Saraburi, Prachinburi, and Khon Kaen, plus a Robotic Application Center in Samut Prakan.
For over four decades, ABB has supported Thailand's utilities, industries, transportation, and infrastructure sectors. We deliver comprehensive solutions in electrification, automation, motors and drives, and digital technologies—helping customers improve energy efficiency, reliability, and advance toward low-carbon operations and Industry 4.0.

ASEA and BBC first established in Thailand in 1978 and 1982 respectively. In 1988, ABB established in Thailand by merging of ASEA and BBC. The Head Office located in Bangkok, and our manufacturing base is located in the Bangpoo Industrial Estate.
Here, we have access to our manufacturing plants for our medium voltage switchgear and low voltage switchgear. To strengthen our after sales service and to serve our customers nationwide, ABB has established Rayong Business Center in Rayong, and service branches in Laem Chabang, Saraburi, Prachinburi, Khon Kaen, and Robotic Application Center in Samutprakarn.
For more than four decades that ABB has been collaborating with individuals, authorities, and organizations, especially customers in the utilities and industrial sectors as well as in the transport and infrastructure sector to support the growth of Thailand’s economy.
