ABB在新發布的白皮書中展示了最新且最具高效率的馬達和變速驅動器在工業和基礎設施中，可實現顯著能源效率改善的能力。ABB呼籲政府和行業加速採用這項技術，以幫助應對氣候變化。

ABB 於9月13日宣布投資2.8億美元，擴大其在歐洲的製造版圖，並在瑞典韋斯特羅斯建立一座最先進的ABB機器人歐洲園區。該園區將成為 ABB 機器人業務在歐洲的中心，為客戶提供結合AI智慧的協作機器人和工業型機器人，以及支持彈性自動化的數位化解決方案，而這也是ABB ”本地化供應生產” 戰略的一部分。該新園區計劃於 2026年底開放，建成後將取代現有的機器人設施。 ABB 執行長 Björn Rosengren表示，「新園區的投資動能來自於客戶的需求和預期市場增長。」「繼在中國和美國進行重要的投資之後，瑞典的新工廠將增強我們在持續增長的市場中，為歐洲客戶提供本地製造產品的能力。 如今，ABB 在該地區銷售的機器人中，已約有 95% 為當地製造。這不僅是對ABB“本地化服務”戰略的堅定承諾，也是我們對全歐洲所有機器人客戶的承諾。」 ABB

ABB 位於中國上海康橋的先進的全自動化彈性機器人工廠於2022年12月2日正式營運。這座佔地 67,000 平方米，投資金額1.5億美元（約46億台幣）的超級工廠將應用領先的數位化及自動化技術製造新一代機器人，進一步強化ABB在中國機器人和自動化領域的領先地位。 “機器人超級工廠的正式營運是ABB在中國三十年成功發展歷程中的又一重要里程碑。新工廠將協助中國客戶在自動化 的新時代實現持續成長、因應勞動力短缺的挑戰，並創造高價值的就業機會。 ” ABB機器人與離散自動化全球總裁 Sami Atiya表示，“以創新、自動化、彈性化為特色的超級工廠將秉持ABB "in China, for China" ’的發展戰略，進一步加強供應鏈的在地化。未來，我們在中國銷售的產品，90%以上都將在這裡生產，為中國客戶提供更多本土製造的產品、解決方案和服務。”

國際知名的跨國工程集團ABB與東元電機今天 (21日) 宣布，簽署合作意向書（LOI），雙方將攜⼿共同開發海上變電站統包工程的合作商機，一方面引進ABB在離岸風電海上變電站的國際市場成功經驗， 另一方面則是發揮東元電機在過去三年所累積的陸域變電站工程實績的優勢，雙方將組成最具競爭力的合作團隊，為開發商提供具有高可信度、且完整的海上變電站相關設備與工程解決方案，實踐台灣離岸風電產業國產化的目標，接軌國際能源轉型。 ABB 能源產業部門亞洲區資深副總Anders Maltesen表⽰：「我們期待與東元電機進⾏此富有成效的合作。與東元電機的協議將促進海上風⼒發電場的可再⽣能源的⽣產和傳輸，這對能源⾛向淨零的轉型⾄關重要，這個合作夥伴關係將⽀持我們雙⽅成為綠⾊能源轉型的領導者，並與市場分享優秀設計和⼯程的海上變電站對海上風能發展的重要性。我們期待著我們的合作，⼀同為台灣的永續能源做出貢獻。」ABB
