Modbus RTU

Modbus RTU (Remote Terminal Unit) means that the Modbus protocol is used on top of a serial line with an EIA-232, EIA-485 or similar physical interface. Numerous automation systems have Modbus-RTU interfaces for communication.  
Many of our drives offer Modbus RTU embedded as standard: ACS310, ACS335, ACS550, ACH550,  ACS480, ACH480, ACS580, ACH580, ACS880 and ACQ580 drives.

In addition our offering includes different Modbus RTU adapters depending on the drive type: 

  • FSCA-01 is compatible with ACS580, ACQ580, ACH580, ACH480, ACS880 and ACS335 drives
  • FMBA-01 is compatible with ACS355 drives
  • RMBA-01 is compatible with ACS800 drives
