The FIM application is a sales tool for front-end teams to showcase FIM value to their customers. It provides an introduction to FIM theory including technologies overview and architecture and hands-on experiences with FIM software.

Use Cases

Standard 800xA application is used, but logging under different user account ensures the FIM tool is started, ready to use and 800xA operator workplace is hidden. In addition, predefined setup ensures that any changes users have done will be automatically reverted to its default setup after logout. Other options are available for users to reserve a dedicated virtual machine with application system for up to 1 week.

You will need to apply to access/reserve virtual machines and use either VMware Horizon Client or you can opt to use VMware Horizon Web Access.
