Robust design securing optimal flow

The ACQ580 offers innovative pump functions for the water and wastewater industry which simplify your pumping processes and motor control while ensuring energy efficiency. These robust and compact wall-mounted, module and cabinet-built drives have built-in pumping functionalities such as sensorless flow calculation, multipump control, level control, soft pipe fill, dry run protection, quick ramps and pump cleaning.

By pairing the innovative IE5 synchronous reluctance motor (SynRM) with the optimal ABB drive for your needs, you can push your output further than ever – saving energy, spending less and producing more. The drives packages consisting of synchronous reluctance motor and variable speed drive are optimally matched to each other and optimized for nearly every application.

 

Clean Grid

The ultra-low harmonic drives are the most compact solution to achieve a current distortion of less than 5 %. They reliably prevent the occurrence of grid harmonics, which can cause problems in plant operation.
