Turkey’s first ever live virtual exhibition was organized by Voltimum, the enabler platform for digital media business and sales for the electrical industry, on October 6-8, 2016. At the virtual exhibition, which was attended by the leading companies of the energy sector, many subjects ranging from Industry 4.0 and solar cables to LED lighting systems and low-voltage switchgear were presented interactively in 3D. Furthermore many live seminars were held in the auditorium section.
As an avatar, customers entered the virtual exhibition space. At the virtual exhibition, ABB Turkey Low Voltage Products welcomed its visitors with the motto ‘100% Energy’. Various installation solutions for residential, commercial and industrial applications were presented by different companies. Wherever visitors stopped they could get more information from virtual avatars who embodied authorized personnel. To enter the virtual exhibition space, which was copied from the original exhibition hall, visitors picked their own virtual characters. In the shoes of those avatars they visited the desired stands, took a look into brochures and watched product videos. The interactive exhibition space also made it possible to share interactive information, for example chatting with online company representatives and watching audio and video interviews with expert engineers. Even networking could be carried out by virtual business card sharing.
Lots of interactive points enticed customers to learn more. For the first time as a part of this virtual exhibition, ABB presented some of its innovative and leading product solutions developed on the basis of productivity and connectivity. At the stand, ABB highlighted the KNX smart home automation technology, which makes today’s buildings ready for the future with its innovative and flexible technology. In addition, System pro E Power, ABB’s innovative power and distribution board series and Emax 2 open circuit breaker, which can be transform into a high-performance Power Manager, with an effective and easy usage, were exhibited. Efficient and reliable analysis of power consumptions are enabled by the next generation CMS-700 circuit monitoring system, providing users with the possibility to analyse current and energy measurements with up to 96 sensors. SMISSLINE TP, the world’s first ever plug and play socket system makes installations easy and simple.
The virtual ABB team was ready to offer more information and advice. Furthermore the exhibition included the soft starter PSTX, the most functional product in the motor control and protection market, the AF series contactors working with next-gen AC/DC supply voltage and in the range of 9A to 2650A: as well as PI-spring loaded terminals, which enable easy connection thanks to their smart design and Jokab Safety products providing the highest security performance for machines and the CM-UFD grid monitoring relay for frequency tracking.
