ABB Adaptaflex launch new enhanced fire performance liquid tight conduit systems with EMI screening properties

In certain environments such as construction and telecommunications, there are ever increasing demands not only for quicker and easier to install solutions, but also for increased safety and technical performances.

Providing a solution for these applications, we have developed two new ranges of liquid tight conduit systems, featuring enhanced low fire hazard and electromagnetic interference (EMI) shielding properties for added safety and security:

  • Low Fire Hazard, under-braided liquid tight conduit (Type EMILFH-SPL)
  • Enhanced fire performance, under-braided liquid tight conduit (Type EMIEF-SPL)

With the addition of this new range of liquid tight flexible metallic conduits, Adaptaflex can now offer an even broader range of cable protection solutions for buildings or infrastructure where low smoke, low toxicity and EMI screening is required.
