FAQ

Which gateways are able to connect to InSite Energy Pro?

The main control unit of ABB's InSite energy management system, SCU200, is the only gateway that can connect to InSite Energy Pro. The SCU100 control unit is not able to connect to InSite Energy Pro.

How does the device commissioning process work? Is a separate tool needed?

No separate tool or software is needed. The commissioning is done on the SCU200 web server as it is traditionally done. Once the cloud commissioning process starts, the devices connected to the web server will be automatically recognized in the cloud.

Why do I need an authenticator app?

The authenticator app allows us to verify your credentials and adhere to cybersecurity standards. For iOS users, an authenticator app can be downloaded from the App Store. For Android users, it can be downloaded from the Google Play Store.

What type of devices can be configured or visualized in InSite Energy Pro?

All the devices that can be technically connected to the SCU200 (according to its communication protocols) can be configured and visualized in InSite Energy Pro. The available widgets will allow different types of visualizations according to the nature of each device.
