Arc fault mitigation devices

The REA 107 module detects arc light with up to eight lens type sensors in combination with the main REA 101 module. When any of the REA 107 sensors has detected light, the main REA101 module trips if it simultaneously has detected overcurrent.

Scope

  • Extend the arc detection zone of the main REA101 module with additional sensors

  • Lens-type sensors are especially suitable for retrofit installations by providing a more convenient installation of the sensors compared with the optical fiber sensor solution
