Busway System

A busway system is mounted overhead or under the raised floor of the server cabinets.

The busway is equipped with a feeder unit and several tap-off units, connected along the busway in alignment with the server cabinets. The tap-off units are fitted with protection devices to safely distribute power from the busway to the server racks in the cabinets.

Remote Power Panel

Remote Power Panels (RPPs) distribute power directly to the IT server racks or cabinets.

Usually, RPPs are installed in close proximity to the racks, and typically in the same white space.

The design of an RPP needs to meet the power density demands of the server racks, assuring continuity of operation with high energy efficiency, optimized footprint, modularity and flexibility.
