ABB Adaptaflex launch new SSPL liquid tight conduit system featuring a stainless steel 316 core

Introducing the Adaptaflex SSPL and SSPLHC ranges of liquid tight metallic conduit and SSPL Type M straight fitting

Featuring a stainless steel 316 core and covered by either oil resistant PVC or extreme temperature thermoplastic elastomer (TPE), this new liquid tight metallic conduit range from Adaptaflex offers the ideal solution, alongside the appropriate Type SSPL fitting, for cable protection applications in the most demanding environments.

• Type SSPL
  Liquid tight flexible conduit, oil resistant PVC covered with a stainless steel 316 core. Suitable for indoor/outdoor applications, marine and buildings.
• Type SSPLHC
  Liquid tight conduit with a 316L stainless steel core, built for use in extreme temperatures and featuring very high chemical resistance. Suitable for very low and very high temperature applications.
• SSPL Type M Fitting
  Stainless steel 316 straight fitting, external male thread. For insertion into threaded entries or knockouts using a locknut to secure. Offers IP68 and IP69 protection when used with SSPL conduit.

With the addition of this new stainless steel range of liquid tight flexible metallic conduits, Adaptaflex can now offer an even broader range of cable protection solutions where resistance to oil, extreme temperatures or high ingress protection is required.
