After a guided tour of Vaxholm, a short transfer with M/S Gustafsberg VII will take us to the Fortress Island for lunch. Waxholms Citadel is a historic fortress originally constructed by Gustav Vasa in 1544 to defend Stockholm against shipborne attacks.

We will have a tour of the island and the fortress museum, as well as having lunch served at the citadel in the historic armoured battery. After lunch there will be a brief information, about 15 minutes, for everyone of the history of the fort and afterwards some free time to exlore the Fortress Island and the fortress museum on your own.

The return cruise will bring us back to Stockholm, and the hotel.
