ABB is pleased to announce that we have launched a cooperation program with the Hanoi University of Technology (HUT) to offer a scholarship for full time second-year students of HUT’s Electrical Shool of Engineering. The scholarships, offered by Jürgen Dormann Foundation (JDF) under ABB Group, aims at supporting talented students in the electrical field who might not have the means to support themselves for studying.

On 28 February 2012, ABB Ltd. in Vietnam has officially held a ceremony to recognise two briliant students from the biggest technology university in Vietnam, the Hanoi University of Technology (HUT), who have achieved the ABB JDF scholarship in the school year of 2011 – 2012.

On 24 November 2011, ABB Bac Ninh Branch was certified with ISO 14001:2004, the standard of environmental management system and a certificate was officially presented by Bureau Veritas (a global leader in quality, health and environment conformity assessment and certification services) on 30 December 2011.

November 24, 2011, BU LV Drives held annually year end channel partner meeting at Shri Restaurant Lounge, Centec Tower, Ho Chi Minh City in warm and open atmosphere with close channel partners, ABB drives global, regional and local managements and LV Drives staff.

On October 28, 2011 and November 04, 2011, Low Voltage Products Division organized a seminar to introduce Total integrated Solutions for Building and Smart Home at Fortuna Hotel in Hanoi and Duxton Hotel in Saigon.
