Welcome dear employees to our ABB Switzerland site in Turgi/Untersiggenthal!

In order to provide you with the best possible support for your start at our location, we have compiled the most important information and contacts in the introductory program on this page.

The introductory program gives you an overview of:

It also includes compulsory training & e-learning courses and the possibility to register for a tour of the production facilities.

It is important not only for legal reasons to train all people on site, but also for the safety of our employees. It is therefore mandatory for all new employees to visit this site, to know and understand the contents. The digital confirmation at the end is therefore necessary.

In addition to information on the infrastructure at the Turgi site, you will find an overview of the organizational units and their products. You will gain an insight into the most important communication channels.

The Integrity Awareness portal, a one-stop-shop for all employees to explore. The portal is full of interesting and engaging content, including short animations, ethical moments, quizzes, videos, and infographics on our five integrity principles and 16 integrity focus areas of ABB's Code of Conduct. From trainings to interactive videos, employees have a lot of concise and easy-to-understand content to choose from, depending on their area of interest and job role.

The Integrity Awareness portal can be accessed anytime, anywhere – from employees’ desktop or mobile device. The portal is available in 18 languages and will be supplemented with further content throughout the year.

To log into the Integrity Awareness portal you must be connected to the ABB Network. Then use the following LINK .

At ABB, IT is divided into global and local services. Here you can find your contact persons and information about the IS Team at the Turgi site: IS Team Turgi.

A "walk-in" support is available in Turgi on site (as well as virtually). This is located in Gusti 2, ground floor (right next to the main entrance). Details can be found here.

How do you have to proceed if you want to book the support virtually?

Create a 30-minute invitation in the Outlook calendar for the room: Conf Room CH Turgi_Gusti2_EG (2) Walk-in Support Center
Mandatory to note in the details of the invitation (not in the title - but in the description/note) that this time slot should be made "REMOTE" so that our Walk-In Support sees it.
If there are any glitches via MS Teams, Walk-In Support can also contact you by phone, please include your mobile number if needed.
Walk-In Support will contact you at the appropriate time via MS Teams and perform the support.

Of course, it is still possible to contact the Walk-in Supporter directly on site. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact our team.

IS Driver Licence

For a smooth start in the world of ABB Informatik we recommend to check New@ABB and to obtain the "IS Driver License", which can be booked in MyLearing (search for "IS Driver License").

We warmly welcome you to Turgi and would like to introduce you to our company and the production.

We would therefore like to invite you to a factory tour followed by lunch. During the tour, you will visit all three factories (MOSD, PAEN, MOTR) in Turgi. Afterwards you will have lunch with a Senior Leader of the site who will give insights into his career at ABB. The tour starts at 10:30 and ends at 13:00. Depending on the participants, the tour will be in German or English.

In addition to the exciting opportunity to take part in our factory tour, we would like to offer you the chance to take a professional profile picture that best represents you and your ABB account.

The photo sessions take place once or twice a month to ensure that every New Joiner gets taken their photo as quickly as possible.
