Field Information Manager supports connections to RS232/RS485 HART multiplexers and HART field devices connected to those by using the Thorsis HART MuxGate Communication Server with Thorsis isHMuxGate - Ethernet Communication Module.
Thorsis HMuxGate Communication Server as a Windows service
Basic part of the connectivity to HART multiplexers is the Thorsis HMuxGate Communication Server which is installed as a Windows service. It is based on an FDI Communication Server and allows the Field Information Manager to access the Thorsis isHMuxGate and connected HART multiplexers.
