Freelance I/O

Depending on the application, various I/O systems are available for the Freelance distributed control system (DCS).

  • S700: Can be connected via Profibus or as direct I/O for AC 700F and AC 900F
  • S800: Remote I/O for standard applications via Profibus.
  • S800L: Cost-effective I/O. Connection via Profibus. 
  • S900: Remote I/O for intrinsic safe applications (Ex). Usage in non-hazardous areas is also possible. S900 is connected via Profibus.
