ABB TechTalks: Icebreaker Battery Study

Recorded webinar

ABB has conducted a study to show how an energy storage system could help improve the overall power efficiency of icebreakers, saving fuel and reducing emissions.

In this webinar, ABB Marine & Ports experts will present the key findings from this study. The onboard energy storage simulation results indicate substantial power efficiency and emission reduction benefits for both LNG and diesel operation.

THE WEBINAR WILL COVER:
  • Improving performance and cutting emissions of an icebreaker through energy storage
  • Operational profile of the Polaris icebreaker
  • Simulation results and key findings
