  • Class dates and availability are subject to change, based on student enrollments. Pricing and available offerings may differ based on contractual agreements with ABB, Inc.
  • Class enrollment closes 3 weeks prior to start date to meet class logistics
  • Training Class Cancellation Policy - ABB is not liable for any expenses (travel, lodging, etc.) incurred by student/customer due to class re-scheduling or cancellation. Students/customers will not be charged any training fees for classes cancelled by ABB. Any class still scheduled within 12 business days will be held.
  • Booking travel arrangements, lodging, etc. should not be done prior to 12 business days before a scheduled class as described in our Training Class Cancellation Policy.
  • Dress Code Policy found here must be upheld by students attending in-person and live remote for professionalism and safety purposes.

Students not meeting PPE requirements will be prohibited from participating in class and ABB is not responsible for travel costs incurred.

Process to enroll:

Once logged on to our Training system, enroll in the full training program. Enrollment for classes is done after enrolling in the program and completing all the pre-requisite online courses. Materials covered in the classes require the knowledge contained in the eLearning modules.

Seats are limited, so it is encouraged that you complete eLearning and enroll in the instructor led training class as soon as possible.

If you have any training related questions, please contact us 262-785-3260 or email DrivesTraining@us.abb.com.

In-Person

Instructor Led Training

In-Person Training

In-person instructor led training offers students the opportunity for hands-on learning with our knowledgeable instructors who average 20 years of industry experience. Take part in live presentation and interactive labs while learning alongside other students also attending in-person or live remote in our hybrid classroom. Training is held at ABB's state-of the-art factory and Training Center in New Berlin, WI.

We have compiled classroom expectations with travel recommendations and area maps on this ABB Training Center Information page to assist you in preparation to attend training.

Live Remote

Instructor Led Training

Live Remote Training

Live remote training captures the three core components of learning: seeing, hearing, and doing.  We have created an environment that mirrors an in-classroom environment from the comfort and safety of your home or office.  Attendees will benefit from seeing the trainers, hearing the presentation and putting into practice the major component of "doing."

Students will join other live remote and in-person classroom students in a hybrid environment that allows the instructors to see and guide the student's activities.

This Live Remote Training Brochure details which curriculums offer this option for the instructor led training along with what you can expect in this unique class experience.
