During August and September RMIT undertook two Marketing and Research projects for ABB in Vietnam. The two projects were executed by the Commerce and Management faculties in RMIT in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.

Ho Chi Minh City, May 14th 2014, at Saigon Exhibition & Convention Center, the opening ceremony of Pulp & Paper 2014 was held; this 3rd exhibition lasted for 3 days, from 14th to 16th May 2014. "Lunch Beat" in VietnamLunch Beat trend - which means dancing while having lunch - was first initiated in 2010 by Molly Raenge - a Swedish project manager. With only 14 participants when firstly held in a car basement, now Lunch Beat has presence in 90 countries all over the world. On April 2nd 2014, Human Resources and Communications Department organized ABB Careers Day at Hanoi University of Science and Technology (HUST). On 15th of March 2014, ABB in Vietnam proudly received the 2013 Gold Dragon Award for “High quality product”, awarded by Vietnam Economic Times – the leading economic magazine in Vietnam.

On Feb 14th 2014, at Riverside Palace Conference Center, Ho Chi Minh City, the Award Ceremony of “Top 100 Best Companies To Work in Vietnam” was taken place, hosted by Anphabe firm. Ms. Nguyen Thu Giang – Country Human Resource Manager, as representative of ABB in Vietnam attended the ceremony in honor as one of the top companies in the market.

After a successful year, ABB Low Voltage Products Division organized National Sales – Customers meeting in Mui Ne from 19th to 21st March with the participation of 60 people across the country, to express our special thanks to Low Voltage Products (LP) Division’s Channel Partners for their contribution, and to improve the relationship not only among LP ABB members but also between LP and customers.
