How many expansion modules can be connected to one SCU200 control unit?

Each module has their own power consumption requirements, in general it should be possible to connect up to 5 expansion modules. This number can change depending on the number of connected devices downstream to one SCU200 and the power supply available: PS-1 or PS-2.

What are the limitations on the number and type of devices that can be connected?

A CMS current sensor weighs 1 point
A DMxx I/O module weighs 4 points
An INS-S/H smart contact weighs 1 point

Using the INS-HUB expansion module, 128 additional points can be added, allowing for 160 points in total.

An unlimited number of widgets, dashboards, and automations can be created, though excessive automations may slow down the response time.

How many Modbus TCP clients can be integrated into SCU200?

With firmware version 1.3, up to 32 Modbus TCP clients can be integrated.

Where is the Rest API documentation?

It is available in the user manual.

Can SCU200 export data via Modbus RTU?

No, only via Modbus TCP.

How to choose between PS-1 or PS-2 module?

Use the tool available on the web server to determine this.

How many SCU200 slave units can be added to a main SCU200?

Up to 12 SCU200 slaves can be added, with data exchange possible between main and slave units via Rest API.

How can the SCU200 configuration be exported?

The SCU200 configuration can be exported, including created widgets and automations. Files are encrypted and transferable but not viewable on computers.

How can the SD card be used on SCU200?

The SD card can be used for historical data storage, configuration export/import, or report downloads. When used for historical storage, it cannot be used for other functions, and it will be encrypted.
