ABB frequency converters for HVAC systems enable energy savings of up to 60 percent by adjusting the motor speed of fans, pumps and compressors while providing optimum control based on the building’s current loads and requirements. The ACH480 and ACH580 frequency converter series for HVAC systems feature built-in connectivity and communication protocols for seamless installation in decentralized building management systems and adaptive programming for affordable OEM solutions. 

Ultra-Low Harmonic Drives are the most compact solution available that can achieve current distortion rates of less than 5 percent. They reliably prevent network harmonics, which can lead to plant operation issues.

The AC500 PLC family features precision scalability for individual and customer-specific automation tasks – with respect to performance, I/O modules, standard field buses, such as BACnet and KNX, and connectivity. ABB Cylon® is building automation scalable for commercial buildings. In addition, ABB Cylon® offers a building management and operating system for almost any case. Open protocols such as BACnet and Modbus are considered as the communication platform.
