ABB Electrification’s commitment to growth and collaboration were clear at its recent Asia-Pacific Channel Partner Event in Bangkok on June 6-7. The conference brought together more than 200 partners from across 15 countries to discuss the megatrends driving economic growth in the region, and the business and innovation opportunities presented by electrification, e-mobility, digitalization and energy transition.

Morten also emphasized the importance of ABB’s leadership on sustainability and integrity as the company’s “license to operate.” ABB Electrification is embedding sustainability across its complete value chain, delivering energy-saving solutions with smaller environmental footprints.
Opportunities in the region and for the region
With new e-mobility charging networks, data center growth, and the expansion of semiconductor production across the region, the opportunities for ABB Partners are significant. With a shared mission of “Electrifying the world in a safe, smart and sustainable way,” Morten stated a commitment to streamline and strengthen internal collaboration at every level to deliver a more seamless experience for Partners.
Innovation and customer experience
The heads of ABB Electrification divisions gave individual updates on progress and participated in a Tech Talk session, discussing advances and answering questions from Partners. Long-standing Partners also shared their success stories and perspectives on how the company can further support collaboration and make doing business together easier.
A session focused on sustainability combined a strategic overview from ABB Electrification, a country-level analysis of the commercial opportunities and the perspective of a major distributor on how the changing sustainability landscape is shaping his company’s future.
Breakout sessions looked at the opportunities for Partners industries in data centers and semiconductor industry – and presented ABB Electrification’s EasyOrder digital commerce strategy.
